best looking nike sb shoes

New year, new you, right? If that's the case, it means it's time for you to try new things all over the map—from eating more oatmeal in the morning and getting that gym membership working to trying some new sartorial styles. This week the sneakers brands are already taking some risks, and although we don't love all of them, we think you should know about them. Some of the easier sells include a classically inspired Air Jordan, some camouflaged Nike SB silhouettes, and a collaboration on a Nike Dunk that's more than what it seems on the surface. If you're looking to take some chances, Shoe Gallery has a subtly exciting pair of Climacools with Adidas, and a recent update to the Air Force One has a lot of people scratching their heads but it might scratch that new look itch. There's these and plenty more releasing this weekend, so take a look. nike shoes fashion tumblr Nike SB series - A brief history Nike SB shoes top models in the Philippines Nike SB products line for skateboarders Nike SB series – A brief history Back in 1997 when the first idea of creating a special shoes collection just for the skateboarders was incubated by Nike, the world had already had some big names in the market like DC or Vans. Nike took it as a challenge to design even better and more functional skate shoes.

After a long time spending in the production of the perfect pair, Nike finally introduced to the sportswear market its very first skateboarding shoes under the name of Nike SB in 2002. The SB series boast a seamless double stitch sew, thin padded tongue with the signature Zoom Air insoles for extra comfort. The first model of this series was SB Dunk, inspired by the prominent basketball shoes design with two editions: Nike SB Dunk Low Pro and Nike Sb Dunk High Pro. Following the success of the SB Dunk, Nike released its ever popular models: the Classic Nike Zoom and Stefan Janoski Max being the most sought-after products. The Nike Zoom All Court CK model was endorsed by the professional skateboarder Cory Kennedy. This extraordinary skate shoes provide ultimate comfort for your feet with durable vulcanized outsole. They are also ultra-light for every movement in the air. Together with a simple and elegant black and white design, Nike Zoom All Court is definitely the number one choice for skateboarders.

The Nike Stefan Janoski Max is the next generation of the legendary Nike Air Max. With excellent cushioning that provides steady support for your posture while skateboarding, this pair is a must-have for not only skateboarders but also Nike fans in general. On top of that, the Stefan Janoski Max boasts the rubber pods that are steady for board feel. Besides a wide range of skate shoes, Nike SB series also include Clothing and Bags. For an exciting game, do collect your favourite Nike SB series and hit the street with some amazing moves right now!Regardless of how you feel about Nike SBs today, the early years of the line will always be credited for changing the landscape of sneakers as we know it. Looking back, I would consider the SB line from 2002 – 2006 as its golden era. Dunks had the craziest materials and some really great stories. Before Nike started to flood the world with multicolored sneakers and captivating themes attached to every shoe, the Skateboarding line was their Frankenstein science project, and boy did they create a monster.

The history of Nike SB is a whole different conversation, but today the line is nothing like it used to be. Releases in recent years have been trash and it seems like every shoe is a forced gimmick rather than organic stories that automatically connect. However, this week’s release was a great glimmer of hope for the line. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Box,” as we’re told, pays homage to the packaging used for the first series of SBs in 2002. This is one theme that caught the interest of OG sneakerheads and casual fans alike. Seeing orange boxes in your collection makes you feel a certain way, especially if it’s a box from 2002. Nike nailed it with the concept. Now, my issue with this release lies in the execution. Nike absolutely ruined a potentially great shoe. I could nit pick about the colors of the shoe not being accurate, but I won’t. The biggest problem with these sneakers is that Nike SBs in 2002 never came inside of a totally orange box, as the marketing suggests.

The original packaging was actually orange and brown. I know what some of you are thinking: “Okay Ray, relax. It’s just a box.” In most cases, I’d say you’re right. But, the basis of this sneaker’s creation is nostalgia. And for those who are passionate about an era of sneakers, such as I am with SBs, these details matter. I mean, Jordan Brand remastered the AJ1 with the same box from 1985, right? How cool would it have been to bring back the OG orange and brown box for one release? Since I brought up MJ… I’ve accepted that Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 1 wasn’t the shoe really banned from the NBA, rather it was the Air Ship. I still love that story. Nike got me there with great marketing. However, I just can’t let this error in detail slide without saying something. Other SB aficionados agree as well. I’ve read countless conversations about the bad execution of the ‘Orange Box’ Dunk while surfing Instagram, such as the one below by @_Nate_W, one of the biggest SB-heads ever.
