The toe area is really narrow. When the shoe was tied there was not enough tongue fabric to completely cover the top of my foot. These are super comfortable shoes. I can wear them all day without the aches and fatigue that I experience with other shoes I own (Rockports, New Balance, Drew, Hush Puppies).
