best shoes for walking around paris

What do you know about the Marais in Paris? That’s normal, the Paris Marais is the place Parisians keep for themselves for it’s the best. The finest architecture, fun, nice and cheap bars, eccentric and hip crowd, great food and amazing fashion stores, The Paris Marais has a lot to show you. Take a walk in the Marais neighborhood. In Paris, as in every city, there is a kind of small competition between all the districts within the city. That’s why, as I live in Le Marais, I would like you to have a walk here; just for you to discover why it is actually the most convivial district to live in Paris. To have a walk in Le Marais, you have to be ready to mix with a lot of communities. Here, you can find the Jewish community, the Chinese community and the gay community. But the places where you can meet them are not so close from each other. Le Marais has been a trendy place for about twenty years now, I remember when I was a young child that many buildings in Le Marais were dilapidated.
Since then, they have all been renovated and the district has many beautiful ‘hotel particuliers’ (French for ‘town house’) today. REQUEST YOUR PRIVATE PARIS TOUR NOW You’ll notice that the architecture is way far different from what we are used to see in Paris with the Haussmann buildings and all, and that’s precisely what is enjoyable in Le Marais: you have the feeling of being in a secret place.cheap shoes online australia nike The last thing you need to know before having a walk in Le Marais is that on Sunday, because the streets of Le Marais are closed to cars and opened to pedestrians, it is very crowded. puma shoes cheap ukThat is why, if you want to see what Le Marais looks like peacefully, you should go during the week. red nike shoes basketball
However, I think that if you do this, you will miss my favorite point about Le Marais, which is the fact that it’s dynamic and crowded. You have to know that the idea is to stroll down the streets of Le Marais for you to be permeating with the specific atmosphere of Le Marais. The best thing to do is to go from the metro station Hotel de Ville on the 1st line and from there; where to buy tennis shoes in houstonyou will go in the nicest part of Le Marais in one minute walking. best shoes for walking on hard floorsMeeting at around 11 am at this metro station is a good thing because then, you can walk slowly in the streets, eat in a restaurant and rest on the grass on one of the many gardens in Le Marais.cheap running shoes in nz
The first thing to do to see Le Marais is to leave the main street “rue de Rivoli” and head for one of the two the parallel streets (rue Francois Miron or Rue du Roi de Sicile) You can find a map of the journeys that I have recommended for you at the end of the article. I really love to walk in Le Marais because there is also a lot of street art in the neighborhood. Pay attention on the walls in the streets, as you will probably find some street art things. There, you will see that there are a lot of clothes shops or thrift shops. Actually, there is no specific place that you must see in Le Marais, because if you have a walk in the street, you will understand that the best thing in Le Marais is to go into the small shops. I think that visiting Le Marais should be a restful moment while you stay in Paris. Otherwise, if you absolutely want to go to museums in Le Marais, you can find many beautiful museums such as the house of Victor Hugo, the Musée Carnavalet focused on the History of Paris, or the exhibitions at the Hotel de Ville.
But after a one-hour slow pace walk in Le Marais, you should enter the Jewish district  at rue des Rosiers. There, you can find the falafels, a typical Jewish food. It’s at the 34 rue des Rosiers that you can find the best falafels in Paris. The restaurant is called “l’As du Falafel” and you can’t miss it because there is always a short line of people waiting to get their falafels. Because Le Marais is a very trendy place in Paris, you have to go to the rue des Francs Bourgeois. In this street, you can see a lot of hipsters and fashion lovers walking in the streets, looking for the best clothes in the shops. This street is where you can find the very typical Parisian style. The most iconic brands of this style are ‘Sandro’, ‘Maje’ and ‘Comptoir des Cotonniers’. The clothes they sell are expensive, but I can assure you that the quality is excellent. Then, when you have walked and shopped for 2 hours in Le Marais, you can find a garden in the district.
The most famous one is Place des Vosges: it’s also the oldest square in Paris. This garden is one of the only gardens in Paris where you can sit on the grass. It’s a very typical French garden, everything is tidy and the buildings all around are harmonious. This is the place where all the locals come to relax and sunbathe when it’s sunny. According to Google, you have one hour of pure walk to cover the journey I recommended but I know that if you walk slowly and enjoy the neighborhood, or if you enjoy your freedom and go into small streets, you could easily take 1 and a half hours. From the metro station to the restaurant l’As des Falafels From the As du Falafel to Place des Vosges Reviewer: from Bend, Oregon Was excited to receive these sandals. I always wear a size 6 M, and these were the right length, but, unfortunately were too wide. When I had the laces tied, the two sides of the leather were touching so that there was no further room for future tightening if the leather stretched and relaxed a bit.
And the strap closest to my toes buckled. Just a bit too loose. Reviewer: from Northern Virginia I absolutely adore these sandals. They fit perfectly and are so soft they feel like socks under your feet. I wore these out the other night to a concert with a little black dress and felt so stylish while being totally comfortable standing for hours. I ordered the gold, orange, and purple option. I feel like I could walk in these forever and wear them with so many different outfits, from casual to dressy. Very pleased, and would highly recommend! I actually ordered two pairs of these--one after I got the 1st pair in and loved them so much--my husband doesn't call me the "shoe queen" for nothing! I used to by Naot shoes a lot, but hadn't in several years. I was reminded why I bought them before. Lovely, comfortable and trendy. I will say, I think I should have ordered a size 38. I wear a size 8 shoe, but tended to be just a tad too long. Just a quarter inch or so. I'm sending the second pair back for an exchange, since I haven't worn it yet.
Really love these sandals.I have a wide foot and the medium was perfect. They are very comfortable and have held up after a season of daily wear. A pretty summer sandal. These are gorgeous, professional, and comfortable! I was worried about the color, mostly blues and browns, but decided to treat them as a neutral and wear them with everything - including black. I love these sandals! I have them in black and the stardust. They are super comfortable. You can wear these with semi dressy outfits and still stand or dance for hours! I have problem feet but these are great. Reviewer: from OC, CA Naomi Naots:I love my new shoes! As usual, Naot cork base provides light supportive comfort. I have these in brown and blue. They look great with capris, jeans, dresses... A bit tight at first, I have a medium width but after a couple of times, they mold to my feet. I size up in Naot sandals, wear a 7 1/2 and purchased size 39. I adore this beautiful shoe. Comforftable from the start.
I highly recommend this shoe. Very cute shoe but definitely runs small. Size 42 usually fits me comfortably in Noat Koru but here was tight and too snug. Reviewer: from Berkshires, Massachusetts I wanted to love this sandal, but the arch hit me in the wrong place. I had to return them. If it works for your fit you will be treated to a cute, comfortable sandal. Reviewer: from SW FL These are beautiful shoes, but sadly they are more narrow than other Naot styles that I have. The part on the heel rubs too. Sad to have to return them because ! I am a regular purchaser of Naot and love every pair that I have. Nice to have a style that is a bit more fashion forward. Reviewer: from Sunny Southern California Not sure the bling is a good fit with the thick sole. I've been searching for a gold shoe for some time and purchased this shoe in the gold/brown combo. I have a bad back so I'm always looking for shoes that provide good alignment as well as comfort.
I've got narrow heels and a small bunion on one big toe. I wear a 6.5 in Naot and this shoe was true to size. It's extremely comfortable, as they all are. I'm not sure I can get used to the style. The gold and brown pattern on the leather is nice, it's muted enough to go with everything. The blingy insert I'm not sold on; it's too flashy for me. The fairly thin and open design on top does not mesh well with the typical thick sole of a Naot shoe. I'm going to try it around the house for a few days, to see how it works with jeans and capris. Another reviewer mentioned toning down the bling with some shoe polish; I might try that. It's super comfortable but I think I might find something I like more. My assessment of the design is very personal; I can see this shoe being loved by many wearers. Right now I'm not one of them. Reviewer: from La Jolla Great arch support and fairly comfy for walking. I bought this shoe for a trip to Japan where we walked the whole time.
The edges of the sole were a little uncomfortable but overall good. Reviewer: from Columbia, SC I really like the look of these shoes, and the footbed was really comfortable. However, the ankle straps were really tight. Since I need shoes that I can walk around in all day, I'll have to return them. Reviewer: from southern Florida I have several pairs of Naots...these are by far the most comfortable...with a slightly narrow foot these provide both comfort and support...the blue color scheme is darling...highly recommend Reviewer: from Southern Missouri I love this shoe. Naot's are the most comfortable, but stylish, shoes ever. These are my 3rd pair and I love them all. Reviewer: from North Carolina These are beautiful shoes, felt so good on my feet, true to size, good support. Only problem for me was that the front edge over the toes was uncomfortable, rubbed on my toes. My feet are extra sensitive due to neuropathy, so I don't think this would be a problem for most people.
