On a whim, i purchased 3 pairs of these to take with me to Myrtle Beach for a 5 day golf trip. The weather was forecast to be a bit spotty, light rain a few of the days, but mostly dry the others. I can say that every pair of these held up perfectly in all terrains. No slipping on tee shots where I tend to over swing, felt great around the greens and walking around the clubhouse. I even wore these walking through the airport, getting off the plane, heading to the rental car, in the restaurants, etc, etc, etc. You name it, I wore these shoes. Probably not advisable to do very often given that once the tread wear goes on these, they're just shoes.

The neoprene type upper felt fantastic during the entire round, and I wore them without socks on the days when it wasn't forecast to rain, just in case they weren't as waterproof as they claimed to be, but I did notice a slight bit of morning dew getting through on the toe of one of the shoes... it could have been from extended contact with the ground on my follow through.
