The only thing was I'm usually a 7.5 but had to exchange for a 7 because I had a good amount of room in the toes. They're super comfortable and I get compliments often! They are just as comfortable as my Speedcross 3's, maybe a little better. The fit is spot on as always. I've logged around 200 miles in them and have zero complaints. Like other reviewers, my ankles hurt against the side, and the shape of the footbed pitched my foot forward so that my hips and knees hurt while just standing in them for a while. Can't keep or recommend them. This is the first time that I have tried these shoes and it was love at first wearing.

Very comfortable and supportive. The only reason why I marked it down to four stars is because my dog also loved them and chewed apart the laces after the first ten days. Finding replacements you have to go to Salomon directly to purchase their laces. Searching for 'laces' on their site doesn't get you what you need ....but after a quick call you can find them under shoe accessories. As a note, other lock laces do not work. Can't wait for the laces to arrive and will be putting these shoes on a shelf at night to keep my midnight muncher at bay. Will be hitting the trails soon for some good dog walks. These run large but thanks to Zappos making exchanges effortless, I had the correct size on my doorstep the very next day! The tongue is connected so rocks can't slide inside! I work on a rocky hillside rain or shine and these are exactly what I wanted! I won't slip with this tread! Also, like the gortex and lacing style with protected toe box. I'm slightly on the narrow side and the way these lace make it an easy fit.
