I ordered these for my son because I liked the idea of boots that walk like sneakers. However, these didn't feel much like boots OR sneakers. The sneaker part was stiff and slippery, and the boot part wasn't warm and didn't pull up that high. I love stride rite shoes, but we had to buy other boots to use in the snow during winter in the northeast. He ended up wearing these twice. We also had trouble putting these on his feet. They look cute with dress clothes, but also with casual/play clothes, too. The adjustable hook and loop strap is plenty long to accommodate both narrow and wide feet and the rubber toe box is great for running around and playing. All of my 4 grandsons have worn Stride Rite fisherman sandals until they've outgrown children's sizes, and their moms and I have been totally pleased with them!

They look nice enough for wearing to church, fit comfortably, give good support, and wear like iron -- can be passed on the younger ones. I got them for my son to wear for this Fall and Winter season. He was around 10 months old at the time and started to learn how to walk. They fit perfect, and look comfortable. It is very soft and flexible. The only con is sometime it is difficult to put on especially when he curls up his toes. My daughters feet get particularly sweaty so the shoes smelled after a short time. But it was nothing a washing in the laundry machine could not fix. We routinely washed/dried these, and didn't have any issues from laundering them. I am getting them again for her for this summer. These were the only sandals (out of at least half a dozen that we've tried this year, and an equal number last year) that fit my son well and that he finds comfortable and will wear happily. He has wide and tall feet (i.e. from the bottom of his arch to the top of his foot) and has trouble sliding his foot into most other sandals. These were flexible and fit well.
